Game review

Persona5 is a fresh new take on the Persona series and makes its self an amazing first game for newcomers to the series. The game play follows is standard to Atlus with the selling point of be a good student by day fight shadows and evil people after school, this style of game play comes with a time management feature where the player has to make decisions based on that day, Will they fight in a dungeon or Will they hang out with friends so they can level there Confidant to help in the dungeon, Or work so you can make money for items. Or upgrade your social stats, Knowledge, Guts, Proficiency, Kindness and Charm. Time management is key in Persona and by the end you to will be a master of using your time wisely. Explore Tokyo in a new light with persona with every area having something new to do and explore, The soundtrack is superb with tracks like Tokyo Daylight and Tokyo Emergency playing as you explore. Behind the mask is the best piece i personally (hehe) have heard in a long time and accompanies when you explore by night.

(Thank you Atlus and Google images for the pics provided)

A really funny feature that has been joked at by the community is the cat Morgana telling you very frequently to go to sleep this may not seem a big deal when you read this but, When you want to go out so you can make tools or hang out with confidants that cat will stop you and you will wish you can throw it out of your bedroom window. Enough about the main mechanics hows the dungeon crawling aspect, well i can say without a doubt the main RPG elements are designed so beautifully it brings a tear to my eye, The game designers have incorporated a comic book style with snappy and quick transitions to not take you out of the pace of battle, Something so mundane like using an item is made so good to look at with the characters snapping their fingers or doing a flip to bring out the item, It really puts you in the mood to fight, And again going back to the soundtrack the place(dungeon) themes are so well orchestrated and really fit the ruler that the main protagonist and his friends are fighting. And the piece Last Surprise. really gets you in the mood even if it is turned based combat.
The cut scenes are unbelievable with the anime style they capture really make you feel as though you are experiencing the scenarios with the main Protagonist. the art style makes the game very manga esc with its characters looking straight from modern style Manga's and with this style it can pull off designs that just wouldn't fit if it were more realistic.

But sadly i must move into the cons of the game. First of all the RPG elements of the game are very repetitive and fancy animations can only take you so far, sometimes beating enemies can fell like a chore than a riveting experience and the charm can be lost as you progress. also the main themes throughout Tokyo do not change to fit certain months or seasons, it would have been nice of Atlus to include changing music. But that all for Cons as you can see there is  plenty more good than bad but it still has to be mentioned as a heads up.

To end I can say that this game is a breath of fresh air for RPG vetarains while also being new for people who have never touched an RPG, the amazing graphics awesome soundtrack and anime art style really solidify this as an amazing game
9.5/10.

1. What is Primary and secondary research? and What are the examples? Primary research is research that you have gone and collected yourself. it can allow your information to be specific and well rounded. a few examples of primary research includes questionnaires, surveys focus groups and interviews. Secondary research is information that has already been collected bu you can cross reference your research with the research that is already out their a few examples include books, blogs, Archives and statistics. 2. Explain how you could use this research to help sort a problem in the gaming When your developing a game and come across a problem, you can use Primary and Secondary research to analyse the problem. the first thing you could do is find out about other games that had the same problem within development or you can try to find out the problem yourself by using game research you have collected personally. 3. what are Quantitative and Qualitative research? Sounds in videogames

In some cases there can be times where sounds in video games don't meet the right timing or effect that the developer had in mind. These often lead to weird instances where the player hears footsteps that are out of sink, music from a completely different part of the game or sounds that sound so violent and scary that it doesn't fit the desired genre. The first example i can give is in Mass effect Andromeda when your talking to certain NPCs the audio doesn't quite match up with the lip syncing so it just comes off as bizarre this can break the immersion for the player and ruins the in-game atmosphere that was built. in post production make sure the animation fits the voices the second scenario is in the legend of Zelda OOT when you fight the Redeads, this enemy is shown to the player when they first become an adult and the sound it makes is very eerie and unsettling this doesnt fit into the game because Zelda is normally a game that is light hearted and kid friendly whe
