A little introduction

Hello my name is Daniel Cooper and this is my Games Design page. I love to play video games and make Animations. This blog allows me to post my Games design work and also upload Character designs and Cartoons. I hope you enjoy my work this is the best way to express my hobby and entertain people. Games Design is the perfect way for me to grow as an animator and learn new skills for creating games and learn about the gaming industry. I hope my two years at SLC will allow me to achieve this goals. Thanks for reading

Sound exercise 1

Mario has an iconic tune that everyone knows and can possibly hum. This is done with the simple yet memorable sounds a main tune was composed to be catchy and not be boring after hearing it over and over again. since NES cartridges at the time didn't have a lot of memory sounds took up the most memory this is why there is only three tracks throughout the whole game. Sound exercise 2

sound and FX in video games are important because it gives an extra level of detail to the game the best example i can give is when a character shoots a gun the player expects to hear gun shot noises is there was no sound then that would be strange giving the game extra sound detail gives players the best experience. music can also engage the player during cut scenes or moments throughout the game. it also adds to the general atmosphere of the game and without music the atmosphere the game is trying to create would be lost. 1. what is a waveform? A waveform is a curve showing the the shape of a wave at anytime. What is the frquency? Frequency is the rate in which something occurs What is the Amplitude? the amplitude is the extent of the sound vibration etc What is the Pitch? Game review

Persona5 is a fresh new take on the Persona series and makes its self an amazing first game for newcomers to the series. The game play follows is standard to Atlus with the selling point of be a good student by day fight shadows and evil people after school, this style of game play comes with a time management feature where the player has to make decisions based on that day, Will they fight in a dungeon or Will they hang out with friends so they can level there Confidant to help in the dungeon, Or work so you can make money for items. Or upgrade your social stats, Knowledge, Guts, Proficiency, Kindness and Charm. Time management is key in Persona and by the end you to will be a master of using your time wisely. Explore Tokyo in a new light with persona with every area having something new to do and explore, The soundtrack is superb with tracks like Tokyo Daylight and Tokyo Emergency playing as you explore.
